Read Aloud Club is a unique space for children to explore their voice, learn real connection skills and practise reading aloud — all through play.
I'm Sarah, Meisner-trained founder, creating a space to connect, read aloud and repeat — intentionally building skills for life.
The four pillars
Before a child can speak with confidence, they need to feel truly seen. We start there — eye contact, body language, real listening — so everything they say afterwards comes from real connection, not performance.
Confidence isn't something we hand a child. It's something they build, one small win at a time — through real technique, gentle repetition and a lot of encouragement, at exactly the pace they need.
Saying what you mean, clearly and with feeling, is one of the most useful skills a child will ever have. We give them real time to practise it, until it stops feeling like practice.
None of this stays in the room. Weekly challenges bring the whole family in, and sessions out in the real world put it all to the test — so connection doesn't stop when the class ends.
The club
Every class runs during term time and in the school holidays.
Alive with story, sound and phonic play.
Growing in confidence, through voice and story.
Real technique and real practice, building confidence that lasts.
One-off sessions built around a story or a writer.

"Everyone in co-op is so impressed with M's ability to articulate and deliver her weekly challenges. That's very much due to your methodology and how you engaged and encouraged her in Read Aloud Club."
Parent of M, aged 6
"I really appreciated the teacher's strategy; her main goal was clearly to build the children's confidence and give them tools to speak up in front of an audience. It was incredibly useful for Yusef. Watching him gain the courage to perform was a joy. Highly recommend it!"
Parent of Yusef, aged 10
"Noah and I had such a giggle practicing the weekly challenges together, especially the tongue twister challenge! Doing weekly practice at home, alongside Read Aloud Club, definitely helped with his confidence in class each week."
Parent of Noah, aged 9
